Champagne - Class in a glass

Champagne is a sparkling French wine which can only come from the champagne region of France. There are many different types, styles and flavours of champagne, thought there are very strict rules on its production.

Champagne can only be made from three grape varieties; Chardonnay, Pinot Noir , Pinot Minnier. These varieties can either be blended or used alone. Fizz – fuelled Hollywood parties in the 1930’simbued the drink with glamour, but today champagne is as much a part of popular culture as high society.
